Happy Father's Day: Ritchie Hornak | Community Spirit

Hello! My name is Marian and I am from Sumter, SC and my father's name is Ritchie Hornak.
I belive my dad would be great to be nominated for my community! Reasons why is because he has taken care of me and my two siblings by himself for seven years. My mom left harshly 7 years ago.  He has been very stressed out lately from his job, money's tight, and that he's the only one for my siblings.  Since I'm the oldest, it's very hard for me. I babysit for free all day while my dad works and I have to take care of my siblings. I have many prayers to help my dad be happy again. My dad has opened up a restaurant here last year and he was so very happy! But it didn't work out..we had to shut it down..
It was very sad. We worked hard. I hope we have another chance at it!
Now my dad has a very nice, mom-like girlfriend! His stress has left some but it's still there. If I can say this, I would call her my mom!
Her name is Teresa Lyles.

Some issues/stress causing things here is that we live in a very small house. My dad gave up his bedroom/bed and gave it to my brother. My dad now sleeps In the livingroom.  I know he's stressed from this because there's no privacy. I know this cause I live this.
He is trying and is giving us a good life; a life where we learn things other kids don't know. One thing is that I don't judge people and that I'm kind and understanding. My dad is also helping me and my siblings with our dreams! I taught myself art and he has helped me with materials such as charcoal pencils!
My dad also dosnt have many friends (I guess because he doesnt go out much) but o hope he does oneday!
He is a GREAT guy and if you knew him, you would be great friends!  He is nice and caring but I hope to make him happy in every way possible! And this is one way to make him smile and to give us all a hug! Can't wait for that!
And I can't wait for life to get better some how^^
