School Supply Drive Needs Donations July 16th -20th | Community Spirit

The 2012-2013 school year will be here before you know it! Come out and help SC students get the school supplies they need to start the year off right. The School Supply Drive hosted by the Midlands Workforce Development Board will be held at all Midlands Workforce locations from July 16th through the 20th from 8:30 a.m. - 5 p.m. All of the donations will benefit The Cooperative Ministry.

There are three Midlands Workforce locations for you to drop off your donations. They are located at 700 Taylor Street in Columbia, 201 Duffie Drive in Lexington and 1009 Kincaid Bridge Road in Winnsboro.

All sorts of school supplies are needed and receipts will be available for those who make donations. The following items are the most requested:

Index cards

Pencil cases

Lunch boxes

Book bags

Facial Tissue

Pencils & Pens

Markers

Highlighters

Scissors

Erasers

Hand held pencil sharpeners

4 function calculators

Hand Sanitizer

Rulers/protractors

Loose leaf paper

Spiral/Composition Notebooks

3-Ring binders

Folders (w/brackets or pockets)

Crayons & colored pencils

Glue (bottle or stick)
