Call for Cooks: Palladium Society’s Chili Cook-Off Celebrates Its 15th Anniversary | Community Spirit
Do you make a mean bowl of “Famously Hot” chili? Historic Columbia Foundation’s Palladium Society is looking for cooks for this year’s 15th Annual Chili Cook-Off, held Saturday, February 23 at the State Fairgrounds.
Chili Cook-Off Cooks are invited to share their chili recipes with more than 500 of Columbia’s finest chili-tasters from 5 pm to 8 pm on Saturday, February 23 in the Ellison Building at the State Fairgrounds. The deadline for chili cook-off contestants to enter is Feb. 19. The entry fee is $20 and covers one chili entry, plus two tickets (cook and one guest – a value of $50) for this famously hot event. Visit historiccolumbia.org for the entry form.
This annual event is hosted by The Palladium Society of Historic Columbia Foundation and features a variety of chili recipes, judging by local celebrities, live music by Whiskey Tango Revue and prizes for the winners.
"The Palladium Society is excited to celebrate the 15th anniversary of this lively event," said Cleve Walker, president of Historic Columbia's Palladium Society. "The Cook-Off is one of the largest fundraisers for the Foundation and we hope Columbia’s finest cooks and taste testers will all join us for this year’s party."
