Sheriff: Woman arrested after throwing pen, choking assistant principal | Crime
The Sumter County Sheriff’s Office arrested a woman they say assaulted the assistant principal of an elementary school.
Deputies arrested 41-year-old Tracey Dawn Timmons of Mayesville, South Carolina on disturbing schools and assault and battery charges Friday.
The report said Timmons assaulted the assistant principal of Pocalla Springs Elementary School by throwing a pen and striking the victim in the face.
Deputies say following the assault, Timmons became belligerent towards the victim and began choking them.
No further details on what sparked the assault.
Timmons was arrested and bond was set at $1000.
