COLUMBIA, S.C. - The South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control is partnering with community-based organizations to sponsor HIV testing events this week in celebration of National Black HIV/AIDS Awareness Day on February 7.

The American Red Cross is encouraging donors to look and feel their best by giving the gift of life during the Saving Lives Never Looked So Good promotion.
People who donate blood or platelets through Nov. 30 will be entered to win one of three $1,000 gift cards to use on a gym membership, spa treatment, car detailing – whatever makes donors look and feel good.

COLUMBIA, SC (WIS) - The program that administers food stamps is about to undergo major changes within one month.
The South Carolina Department of Social Services says on October 1st, Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program benefits will be adjusted to reflect cost of living changes. SNAP benefits will increase.
