Sumter, SC : Do you love the outdoors?  If so, become a Volunteer Docent at Swan Lake-Iris Gardens.   The Swan Lake Visitors Center has an established Docent program as another means of providing a service to those who visit our beautiful gardens.  The Swan Lake-Iris Gardens 2011 Docent Training Program will begin Thursday, March 1, 2012 and will run continuously each Thursday from 10:30 am to 12:00 noon with completion of training on March 22, 2012.  The Docent class is a four week session providing Docents graduating the program with a certificate

Farmers interested in participating in the South Carolina Farmers Market Nutrition Program (SC FMNP) will need to complete the USDA’s required training that is currently being offered.
