Driver killed in Sumter County crash
SUMTER COUNTY, SC (WIS)- The Sumter County Coroner has released the identity of a driver killed in a single-vehicle crash early Sunday morning in Sumter County.
Coroner Harvin Bullock said 55-year-old Oziah Boykin of Camden died at the scene.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol said the crash occurred in the 6000 block of Spring Hill Rd. at about 3:30 a.m. Investigators say Boykin lost control of his BMW, went off the road and hit a tree.
Troopers say Boykin was not wearing a seat belt and was partially ejected from the car.
