Sumter County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested two people and are looking for four more they say was involved in armed robbery that left one person dead and paralyzed another.

Deputies say they arrested 19-year-old Tabias Lorland McFadden and a 15-year-old juvenile on Wednesday and currently are searching for four more people.

According to the warrants, three armed men dressed in black with ski masks, entered the Money Saver store located on Lynch River Road in Sumter County shooting on December 26.

Deputies say one of the men snatched the clerk from behind the counter and took his 9mm gun.

Officers say the suspects took the clerk outside and threatened to kill him.

According to deputies, the three men went back into the store and stole an unknown amount of money.

Deputies say during the robbery a customer was shot and killed and a second customer was also shot and sustained life threatening injuries resulting in paralysis.

According to an incident report, the suspects also attempted to take the victim’s vehicle by force, but ultimately escaped on foot.  

Deputies say they’re looking for 19-year-old Travis Jacqueese McFadden, 19-year-old Travis Major, 17-year-old Timothy Singletary and 18-year-old Jimonte Gilbert.
