The Bishopville Police Department arrested two men on charges of sexual misconduct with a minor.

According to an incident report, 61-year-old Phesure Benjamin lll and 61-year-old James Curtis Yates, are charged with criminal sexually misconduct with a minor.

Police say Benjamin and Yates sexually assaulted a boy on February 26.

According to an incident report, the family of the victim filed a complaint with the Bishopville Police Department about the incident and told officers that Benjamin and Yates threatened to kill the victim if he told anyone.

The two men were arrested and transported to the Sumter-Lee Detention Center.
